| contact us | Our Spring project was to build a Kayak from plans found online, originally from Popular Mechanix circa 1973. I scaled the templates from the scans and Buzz, Kirk and I started cutting. The plans called for a Kayak 15 feet long, but since I had some 14 foot redwood I scaled them back a little. I was a little concerned about my 235 lbs sinking to the bottom but as you can see she floats pretty well! |
